Mary Ainsley

Mary Ainsley, born around 1745 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and deceased approximately between 1815 and 1817 in Warren County, Georgia, is an ancestor of U.S. President Jimmy Carter. She is the mother of Lydia Harrison Morris, who lived from 1765 to 1838. Lydia Harrison Morris is the mother of Ann Ainsley, who lived from 1801 to 1848. Ann Ainsley is the mother of Littleberry Walker Carter (1832–1873), who in turn is the father of William Archibald Carter, the grandfather of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States and in office from 1977 to 1981.
