Christopher Wandesford, 3rd Viscount Castlecomer, was the son of Frances Pelham, who was the daughter of Lady Grace Holles. Lady Grace Holles was the mother of Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1693 to 1768.
