Caroline Sackville

Caroline Sackville was a British noblewoman born in 1718 and died in 1775. She was the daughter of Lionel Sackville, 1st Duke of Dorset, who lived from 1688 to 1765, and his wife. Her paternal lineage traceable through her grandfather, Mary Compton, who was the daughter of Mary Noel, who died in 1719, and her great-grandfather Spencer Compton, 1st Earl of Wilmington, who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
