Susan Ament

Susan Ament was born on October 12, 1800, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, and died on May 18, 1831, in the same location. She was the mother of John Smith Huffman Jr., who was born on May 7, 1824, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, and died near Rowlett on June 22, 1865. Susan Ament is also the grandmother of Ruth Ament Huffman, who was born on December 10, 1854, near Rowlett and died on February 13, 1936, in San Antonio. Ruth Ament Huffman was the mother of Rebekah Baines Johnson, the mother of Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th President of the United States, who served from 1963 to 1969.
