Song Zhenzhen

Song Zhenzhen is the third daughter of Song Renqiong, a founding general of the People’s Republic of China and former Secretary of the CPC Central Secretariat, and his wife Zhong Yuelin. She was born into a prominent revolutionary family and received a good education from an early age, known for her calm and thoughtful personality.

As an adult, Song Zhenzhen married Chen Fang, the son of senior Communist Party leader Chen Yun. Their union was once seen as a symbolic alliance between two influential revolutionary families. However, due to differences in personality and lifestyle, the couple eventually divorced and went their separate ways.

After the divorce, Song Zhenzhen moved abroad, eventually settling in the United States and becoming a U.S. citizen. She has maintained a low profile overseas, rarely speaking publicly about her family background or China’s political history.
