Introduction
Princess Yongping was born in 1379, the second daughter of Ming Chengzu Zhu Di, and her mother was Empress Xu. She was born in the 12th year of Hongwu and was granted the title of Princess of Yongping in the 28th year of Hongwu (1395). She married Yiben Li Rang, who was bestowed the title of Marquis of Fuyang. They had a son named Li Maofang. In the first year of the Yongle reign, she was conferred the title of Princess of Yongping, and Li Rang was appointed as an imperial envoy. In the early years of the Xuande period, she was promoted to senior princess of Yongping, and in the early years of the Zhengtong era, she was further promoted to the Grand Princess of Yongping. The princess was once titled Princess of Yongping and Grand Princess of Yongping. Later, due to suspicion of plotting rebellion with her son, she was demoted to commoner by Ming Renzong. In the ninth year of Zhengtong (1444), the princess died in April on the Jia Shen day, at the age of sixty-six.
