Introduction
Chengrui, the son of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, was his actual eldest son, but due to his early death, he was not formally listed among the princes. There are discrepancies in the historical records regarding his birth date. According to the lunar calendar, he was born on the 20th day of the ninth month of the sixth year of Kangxi; in the Gregorian calendar, the most common record is November 5, 1667. His mother was Rong Fei (Consort Rong), from the Maja clan. In the relationship between Chengrui and his full brother, he was documented as being the biological elder brother of Yin Zhi. Chengrui died on the 24th day of the fifth month of the ninth year of Kangxi, with another record stating it was July 10, 1670. His lifespan was approximately two years. Historical records about his life are limited, and do not detail his education, attendants, court responsibilities, or other specific activities. This information is recorded in the "Four Genealogies of the Qing Imperial Family."
