Wang Guangzheng, female, Han ethnicity, born in 1925 in Beijing, with ancestral home in Tianjin. She is a renowned Chinese medical educator and party affairs worker, also the sister of Wang Guangmei.

Wang Guangzheng has many family members. Her mother is Dong Jieru. She has a half-brother, Wang Guangdong, with whom she shares the same father, as well as several siblings, including second brother Wang Guangqi, third brother Wang Guangchao, fourth brother Wang Guangjie, fifth brother Wang Guofu, sixth brother Wang Guangying, and also sisters Wang Guangmei (eldest sister), Wang Guangzhong (second sister), and younger sisters Wang Guanghe and Wang Guangping.

Details about her educational background and early life are not well documented. Wang Guangzheng's professional career is primarily centered at Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University School of Medicine). She has served as the Deputy Secretary of the party committee of the university since July 1984 until December 1990. During this period, she also simultaneously served as the Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary at the university. There are no clear records of her early work experience in Beijing.

In June 1984, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Health carried out a comprehensive adjustment of the leadership team at Shanghai Medical University, forming a new Party Committee composed of Jin Naijian, Wang Guangzheng, and Xiao Jun. Jin Naijian was appointed Party Secretary, with Wang Guangzheng and Xiao Jun serving as Deputy Secretaries. In December 1986, she was promoted to Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Medical University.

Her career mainly involves education and party affairs management, holding multiple leadership positions and contributing to the party-building efforts and governance development at Shanghai Medical University.

Wang Guangzheng passed away at 12:45 AM on March 14, 2022, at Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai, at the age of 98. Her death attracted attention from relevant departments and the university. Her work in medical education and party affairs is widely commemorated.
