Chen Yufan, born in 1974 in Beijing, China, is a renowned singer, producer, and musician from Mainland China. He began his musical creation and singing career in 1994, gradually establishing a solid foundation for his professional music career. In March 1996, Chen Yufan wrote the single "Waiting for a Winter Snow to Fall" for singer Zhao Fei, and in July of the same year, he participated in filming the TV series "Beijing Summer," creating the theme song "There is a Me by Your Side" as well as the insert songs "Don't Leave Me," "Is It?" and "I Want to Fly." In May 1997, he composed the main song "Embrace Me" for singer Feng Min, and in October of that year, he composed "End of Fate, Unfinished Love" and "Let Me Walk with You for a Lifetime" for Li Xiaoshuang.

In 1998, Chen Yufan formed the duo "Yu Quan" with Hu Haiquan, and on November 17 of the same year, they officially signed with Rock Records, marking the official establishment of Yu Quan. In 2000, Yu Quan released their first album, "Most Beautiful," which quickly sold over a million copies and was awarded the better-selling album champion in Mainland China. The main song "Most Beautiful" received the Golden Melody Award for Top Chinese Song and was listed among the Top Ten Golden Songs on the Oriental Billboard. The subsequent release of their second album "Dare to be Cold" in 2000 also achieved high sales, surpassing one million, and garnered multiple music awards, including the Best Group of the Year at the Chinese Original Song Chart.

From 2001 to 2005, Chen Yufan continuously released several popular albums, including "Love" and "Without You, It Won't Work," becoming one of the few Mainland China artists to release three million-selling albums each year for three consecutive years. During this period, he received numerous important awards in the Chinese music industry and accumulated rich experience in music production and singing. In 2006, he married actress Bai Baihe, and that same year, they co-starred in the TV drama "Days Related to Youth." In 2007, Chen Yufan released the album "Friends Are Hard to Bear" and held his first solo concert in Shanghai.

Between 2008 and 2011, Yu Quan continued to release many popular albums and works, and Chen Yufan also began exploring acting in TV dramas and films. In 2013, he won the championship in the first season of "I Am a Singer," further consolidating his position in the Chinese music scene. Since then, Yu Quan has released multiple new albums, including "Fifteen," "Rebirth," and "Unyielding," receiving recognition from awards such as the Oriental Billboard and the Global Chinese Music Chart.

Chen Yufan is also actively involved in charity and social activities.
