Zeng Qingyang (Born January 1945—) [1] (Page archived copy stored in the Internet Archive), male, from Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China military figure, Major General of the People's Liberation Army of China. He has served as the Director of the Scientific Research Guidance Department of the Chinese Academy of Military Sciences and as an executive director of the China Law Society.

Born in January 1945 in Huaiyin, Jiangsu Province. In August 1964, he was admitted to the Air Force Engineering College and graduated in 1968. He was assigned to the 13th Air Force School of the Air Force as a radio technician and political department officer. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1970.

In June 1977, he was transferred to the Military Library of the Military Sciences Academy, where he served successively as an assistant, deputy director, and director. In February 1993, he became Deputy Director of the Military History Research Department of the Military Sciences Academy.

From March 1994 to January 1995, he attended the 10th Commanders Course of the Basic Department of the National Defense University. He was promoted to the rank of Major General in 1996. In February 2001, he became the Head of the Military System Research Department of the Military Sciences Academy. In December 2003, he was appointed Director of the Scientific Research Guidance Department of the Military Sciences Academy, concurrently serving as Secretary-General of the China Military Science Society and Vice Chairman of the Third Council of the People's Republic of China History Society.
