Introduction
Qianlong Emperor's second daughter was born in April of the ninth year of Yongzheng (1731) and died in December of the same year, at the age of eight months. Her biological mother was Gege Fucha Shi, and her father was Hongli (Qing Gaozong, later Qianlong Emperor). At the time of her birth, Hongli was the Fourth Prince Chang (the Fourth Young Prince) of Yongzheng Emperor, belonging to a branch of the imperial clan. She was a daughter born to the same mother as her half-brother Yonghuang, and belonged to the Fucha lineage.
During her brief life, historical records provide very limited mentions of her, with no records of her participating in political affairs, ceremonial events, or educational activities. Regarding her death, official histories record it briefly without specifying details about funeral arrangements or titles granted posthumously. There is no clear record in subsequent historical sources whether she was posthumously conferred any titles after her death.
After Hongli ascended the throne and took control of the state, there is no explicit record of her being posthumously honored with a formal title. Existing historical materials mainly focus on her existence and her relationship with her half-brother Yonghuang, rather than any involvement or contribution to court affairs. Relevant accounts can be found primarily in the “Genealogy of Princesses” in the “Draft History of Qing” and in Tang Bangzhi’s "Four Genealogies of the Qing Imperial Family" which mention the princess and her family background.
