Hannah Patterson

Hannah Patterson was born in 1762 and died in 1826. She was the mother of Harriet Holmes, who was born on November 2, 1789, and died on January 21, 1869. Harriet Holmes was the mother of James Henry Sheldon, who was born on January 22, 1816, and died on September 4, 1871. James Henry Sheldon was the father of Mary Cornelia Sheldon, who was born in 1842 in Martinsburg, New York, and died on January 8, 1908. Mary Cornelia Sheldon was the mother of John Sheldon Doud, born on November 10, 1870, in Boone, Iowa, and died on June 20, 1951, in Denver, Colorado. John Sheldon Doud was a meatpacking executive with investments in Illinois and Iowa stockyards and married Elivera Mathilda Carlson in 1891. Mamie Eisenhower, daughter of John Sheldon Doud, served as First Lady of the United States from 1953 to 1961 during Dwight D. Eisenhower's presidency.
