Ma Youheng

Ma Youheng (born December 1944), is a native of Nanhai, Guangdong. He is the son of Ma Wànqí, a former Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the husband of Rong Zhìwǎn, the daughter of Rong Yìrén. In 1968, he graduated from the Department of Economics at Jinan University in Guangzhou. Currently, he serves as a standing committee member of the 9th Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Deputy Director of the Hubei CPPCC Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese Affairs, Chairman of Jianxing Long (Macau) Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Xinkangheng Group Co., Ltd. He also holds various social positions, including Vice President of the Hubei Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Hubei Overseas Friendship Association, and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong-Hubei Friendship Association.

In his early years, Ma Youheng studied at Jinan University. During the ten-year Cultural Revolution, he met and married Rong Zhìwǎn through arrangements by Ye Jianying and Liao Chengzhi. After marriage, he inherited his family's support for Jinan University, serving as President of the Alumni Association and a director of the University’s Board of Trustees, and has been dedicated to education for a long time. He has also served as an executive director of the Chinese Overseas Friendship Association, a director of the Macau Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Macau Olympic Committee, and President of the Macau Athletics Association, making contributions to promoting economic, cultural, and sports exchanges between Macau and the mainland.

In January 2018, Ma Youheng was elected as Deputy Director of the Hubei CPPCC Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese Affairs.
