Cynthia Taft Morris

Cynthia Taft Morris was born on April 28, 1928, and passed away on July 16, 2013. She was an American development economist known for her work in the field of economic development and social equity.

Morris was the granddaughter of William Howard Taft, who served as the 27th President of the United States and later as the 10th Chief Justice of the United States. During her teenage years, Morris and her sister Rosalyn contracted polio. Rosalyn died at the age of eleven.
