King Jingxian Zhu Zhanhao was born in 1406 and died in 1453. He was a illegitimate son of Ming Emperor Renzong Zhu Gaocheng, and his mother was Consort Shun, Lady Zhang. In the 22nd year of the Yongle reign (1424), he was granted the title of King of Jing, with his fief located in Jiangxi. In the fourth year of the Xuande reign (1429), he established his residence in Jianchang Prefecture (modern Nancheng, Jiangxi), with the palace located on Tianyi Mountain southwest of the county town. In the sixth year of the Zhengde reign (1441), there was an incident involving a giant snake in the palace, and he was ordered to leave Jiangxi. In the tenth year of Zhengde (1445), he was relocated to Qizhou in Hubei. He died in the fourth year of Jingtai (1453), and was posthumously titled King Xian.
