Grizel Hamilton

Grizel Hamilton (1719–1811) was the mother of Charles Stanhope, 3rd Earl Stanhope, a British scientist who lived from 1753 to 1816. She was the wife of an individual whose daughter's daughter was Hester Stanhope, Viscountess Mahon, making her the grandmother of Hester Stanhope. Hester Stanhope was married to Charles Stanhope, 3rd Earl Stanhope, who was the son of Grizel Hamilton. Additionally, William Pitt the Younger, a prominent British statesman who lived from 1759 to 1806, was the son of Hester Pitt, Countess of Chatham.
