Sarah Barnard (1710β1762) was the daughter of John Barnard, who served as Lord Mayor of London. Jane Barnard, also a daughter of John Barnard, was the mother of Henry Temple, 2nd Viscount Palmerston, a British politician. Henry Temple, 2nd Viscount Palmerston, was the father of Henry Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston, a prominent British statesman and prime minister who lived from 1784 to 1865.
