Introduction
Princess Xiangshan (1598–1599), whose given name was Zhu Xuanweng, was a princess of the Ming Dynasty. She was the ninth daughter of Emperor Shenzong of Ming, and her mother was Consort Li De. The princess was born in the twenty-sixth year of Wanli (1600), and in the following year, in the first month, on Gengxu day, she was named Xuanweng by her father. The princess died prematurely on Gengyin day in June, at less than one year old. Considering that many of Emperor Shenzong's children had early deaths at that time, Princess Xiangshan was not buried in the imperial family’s cemetery at Jinshan, but was buried in the newly chosen Hongdaling mausoleum in October.
