Rhoda Rawson (1749β1827) was the mother of Peter Rawson Taft, an American politician who lived from 1785 to 1867. She was the grandmother of Alphonso Taft, an American diplomat born in 1810 and deceased in 1891. Rhoda Rawson is an ancestor of William Howard Taft, who served as President of the United States from 1909 to 1913.
