Zhong Yi

Zhong Yi (钟懿), born August 4, 2004, is the son of Kenny Bee (钟镇涛) and Fan Jiang. His elder sister is Zhong Jiaqing (钟嘉晴) and his younger brother is Zhong Jiaqun (钟嘉浚). His father Kenny Bee is a Hong Kong artist and the bassist of The Wynners (温拿乐队).

- 2007 onward: Began appearing at public events with his father.

- February 2010: Performed on a Dragon TV program with his father.

- January 2012: Joined his father on Hunan TV’s Spring Festival Gala, singing the parent-child song “Daddy’s Words” (爸爸的话).

- 2012: In May, released a duet ballad of the same name; in June, performed the song at CCTV’s June 1st Children’s Gala and at the Hong Kong handover’s 15th anniversary gala.

- 2013: Attended Dragon TV’s Spring Festival Gala again.

- August 4, 2014: His birthday; October 19, performed with his father in Vancouver.

- 2015: Promoted the program “China’s Good Dad” and sang its theme song.

- 2017: The duet “Shining Stars” (闪闪星辰) with his father was included in Kenny Bee’s album A Better Bee, with a music video filmed at Beao on Lantau Island.

- March 2020: Made a rare public appearance, singing “Youngster” (少年) with his father.

- August 2023: Performed on stage with his father at the final of the Wynners Five Tigers concert (温拿五虎).

- July 2024: Participated in the show “奔赴！万人现场” and released his first solo single “Don’t Be Sad” (不要难过) in tandem.

- May 2025: Beijing Film Academy publicly announced his admission to the Directing Department (Drama and Film, feature-film directing track) as a graduate student; the entrance exam score for the reexamination was 82.6.

- June 5, 2025: His father announced Zhong Yi’s official debut, performing on Han Hong’s (韩红) music variety show.

- June 14, 2025: “Shining Summer” (闪光的夏天) was released online.

- June 18, 2025: Sang the insert song “If I Were Real” (假如我是真的) for the TV drama Huan Yu (焕羽).

- July 1, 2025: His father announced the admission results.

- Zhong Yi also acted in the film The Eagle Shooting Heroes (东成西就, 2011), portraying Wang Chongyang (王重阳).
