Sarah Maude Peto

Sarah Maude Peto, who lived from 1847 to 1938, was the daughter of Samuel Morton Peto, a British politician, building contractor, and railway contractor. Her sister, Ann Peto, was the daughter of Samuel Morton Peto and was married to James Alexander Campbell, a Scottish businessman and politician. James Alexander Campbell was the son of Janet Bannerman, who was the mother of Henry Campbell-Bannerman, the British Prime Minister from 1905 to 1908. Janet Bannerman died in 1873, and Ann Peto died in 1887.
