Introduction
Qing Tai Zu's Fifth Daughter (1597–1613), name unknown, was the fifth daughter of Qing Tai Zu Nurhaci. Her biological mother was the consort Gamu Hu Juer Luo.
Biographical Details
She was the full sister of Baba Tai, Muku Shi, Baba Hai, and the sixth daughter. In 1608, she married Daqi, the son of Eiyidu. She passed away in 1613 at the age of seventeen. Records indicate that she did not receive any formal title; by customary practice at that time, she could be referred to as a Gege.
Posthumous Title
According to the archives of the Grand Secretariat, on December 2 of the third year of the Qianlong reign, the third-rank guard Su Runai stated that the great-grandmother was the sixth daughter of the Taizu Gao Emperor. Referencing an example from July of the same year, when the empress dowager’s grandmother was posthumously titled Wenshuo Princess, the relevant departments posthumously enfeoffed Nurhaci’s fifth daughter as Heshuo Princess. Accordingly, her tomb and tomb household were arranged in the manner of a Heshuo Princess.
