The 8th Earl of Lincoln, George Clinton (English: George Clinton, 8th Earl of Lincoln, 1718 β April 30, 1730), was a British nobleman.
Life
George Clinton was a British nobleman, born as the eldest son of the 7th Earl of Lincoln, Henry Clinton, and Lucy Perham (daughter of Thomas Perham, 1st Baron Perham).
He was born in 1718.
On September 7, 1728, following the death of his father Henry Clinton, George Clinton inherited the title of Earl of Lincoln.
However, despite being born into a wealthy noble family, he died young, on April 30, 1730.
After his death, the earldom was inherited by his brother, Henry Clinton.
