Anne Sophie de Fitzjames (1717β1763) was the daughter of James FitzJames, 1st Duke of Berwick, and the granddaughter of James II of England. Her father, James FitzJames, was an Anglo-French military leader who lived from 1670 to 1734. Her maternal connection was to Anne of Great Britain, who reigned as Queen of Great Britain and Ireland from 1702 to 1714.
