Introduction

Princess Longqing, born in 1455, was the eleventh daughter of Ming Emperor Yingzong. Her mother was Consort Gao. In the ninth year of the Chenghua reign (1473), the princess married You Tai. She passed away six years after their marriage, in 1479. You Tai, courtesy name Zhongheng, posthumously titled Dongyuan Gong, was born in 1459 and died on Dinghai day of October 1533, at the age of 75. His father was You Sichí, courtesy name Jie, and the family line included You Yanzhen and his grandfather You Yanqing (courtesy name Lin).

You Tai had four sons and one daughter; his daughter was You Zhi, who was the mother of the princess. The other four sons were You Ming, You Qin, You Xuan, and You Qi, all of whom descended from non-marital relationships after the princess's death. According to the epitaph, Lord You died on the 28th day of the second month of the third year of the Longqing era (1569).

A tomb epitaph unearthed in Langshan Village, Beijing, states that the burial site is located on Cuiwei Mountain. The "Epitaph of Ming Dynasty Mingwei Commandant You Gong" records that You Xuan was born in 1494 and died in 1569, also at the age of 75.
