Introduction

Eqi'er (Mongolian: ᠸᠴᠢᠷ, Cyrillic: Очир; after 1648—1683), of the Borjigit clan, a Mongolian Baling Banner person, was the Zasak, or ruler, of the Zhasak Dorogun in Baling Right Banner. His father was Sebü Teng, and his mother was Princess Gulin Shuhui. According to lineage records, these are his parents, and Eqi'er was their second son; he was a grandson of Emperor Taiji.

In the 7th year of Kangxi (1668), Ebul succeeded to his father's title as Zasak of Baling Right Banner. In the 12th year of Kangxi (1673), he paid homage to Emperor Kangxi during a court visit, participated in hunting in the Nanyuan area with Kangxi, and was summoned to campaign against Wu Sangui, offering horses to assist the army. In the 13th year of Kangxi (1674), he was officially dispatched along with his brothers Gelertu and Wenchun, the Beizi of Baling's Left Wing, to Yanzhou to lead troops. In the 14th year of Kangxi (1675), during the rebellion of the Burenni in the Chahar region, Eqi'er was summoned to assist the Grand General of the Fuyu Camp, Prince of the First Rank, Eyi Zha, to suppress the rebellion.

He died in the 22nd year of Kangxi (1683), after which his eldest son Namudak, second son Urcun, and third son Sanglid successively inherited his titles.
