Introduction
Guo Shouzheng, born in 1989, is the eldest son of well-known Taiwanese entrepreneur Guo Taiming. His father, Guo Taiming, is the founder of Foxconn Technology Group and a prominent figure in Taiwan’s business world. Guo Shouzheng is currently 34 years old and is mainly engaged in the management and operation of media and the entertainment industry.
Guo Shouzheng founded companies including Shanshui International, Sanhe Entertainment, and Premiere Creative, with business covering computer animation, video games, film production, and the development and operation of digital content. In the media field he has steadily expanded his influence, involving himself in film shooting, animation production, and film and television investment. One of the films he financed is “A Summer of Miracles,” which also reflects his active participation in film and television production.
On the family side, his father Guo Taiming and mother Lin Shuru have long been regarded as important figures in the business community. Guo Shouzheng’s wedding was held in June 2004 at the Grand Hotel in Taipei and was hailed by the media as the “wedding of the century.” The ceremony was presided over by Guo Taiming, and the guest list included many well-known figures from the technology, business, and political spheres. The wedding décor was lavish, with a theme of rose petals and bamboo; dozens of family photos were hung around the venue, reflecting the close family ties of the Guo family.
Guo Shouzheng’s spouse is Huang Ziyong, a student at the University of California, Berkeley. Huang was born around 1984, is approximately 160 cm tall, weighs about 56 kg, and majored in Mass Communications. She worked in film production in the United States, founded Cherry Sky Films, and participated in the making of several films, including Better Luck Tomorrow. She received a nomination from the U.S. Independent Spirit Producers Association and has a certain level of recognition in the Asian American film community.
Huang Ziyong comes from a middle-class family; her parents worked for the City of Los Angeles government and the Torrance school district, respectively. The couple met at UC Berkeley, dated for more than ten years, and built a stable relationship while studying. During her campus years she loved photography and film and enjoyed engaging in various film-related work. Professionally, Huang has shown diverse talents, participating not only in film production but also in animation and multimedia work.
