Wang Jingqing was born in 1927 in Yulin, Shaanxi Province. He passed away on March 1, 2021, in Beijing at the age of 94. His main positions included serving as the Chief of Staff of the Nüjiang Military Sub-district of the Yunnan Military Region and as the President of the China Red Culture International Exchange Promotion Association. Throughout his career, Wang Jingqing held numerous important posts, establishing his influence in both military and cultural fields.

Wang Jingqing’s early experiences began in 1940, when, at only 13 years old, he joined the military and worked in rescuing seriously wounded soldiers. Subsequently, he participated in revolutionary struggles in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region, engaged in labor and mass production activities in Ganchuan County, and supported troops in Yanchi County to defend key salt-producing areas. After the liberation, Wang Jingqing worked in the Central Guard Division, where he served as the bodyguard of Comrade Liu Shaoqi. His career also included a transfer to the Yunnan Military Region, where he served as Chief of Staff of the Nüjiang Military Sub-district.

In his personal life, Wang Jingqing was married to Li Nuo. They met during a gathering facilitated by Li Yinqiao and his wife, which was arranged when Wang Jingqing visited Beijing. In his family relationships, his status as a second husband garnered some public attention.

Additionally, Wang Jingqing made contributions to culture, having authored the book "Red Army Guerrilla Fighters in Shenfu," reflecting his research and preservation of revolutionary history and red culture.

Wang Jingqing died at 6:58 am on March 1, 2021, due to illness. His farewell ceremony was held on March 3, 2021, at Babu Mountain in Beijing. His passing marked the loss of a military and cultural figure with a rich revolutionary background and multiple roles.
