Wu Lafei is the grandson of senior CCP leader Xi Zhongxun and the grandnephew of Xi Jinping. His mother is Qi An’an (originally named Xi An’an), and his father is Wu Long, the chairman of Guangzhou Xinyou Equipment Co., Ltd. As a third-generation member of the Xi family, Wu Lafei grew up in a household with both strong political and business connections.

Public information about Wu Lafei is extremely limited, and he has received far less media attention than his mother Qi An’an or his sister Wu Yaning (also known as Wu Xiao, English name Hiu Ng). Wu Yaning graduated from University College London and has been actively engaged in philanthropy and charitable work, whereas Wu Lafei has largely remained outside the public spotlight.

Although there is little detailed information available regarding his personal career or life, Wu Lafei’s identity as a descendant of the Xi family continues to make him a figure of interest. He represents both the continuation of the Xi family lineage and its broader network of political, business, and social ties.
