Wu Zun, born in 1983, in Brunei. His father was a massage therapist and nutritionist, serving as the fourth brother of the Sultan's court, and is well-known in the Chinese community for his massage skills. Wu Zun grew up in Brunei with a relatively low-profile family background.

Wu Zun and Lin Liying have two children: a daughter born in 2010 named Wu Xinyi, nicknamed NeiNei; and a son born in 2013, whose name has not been publicly disclosed, but Wu Zun revealed in a fan meeting that the second character of his son's name is "Xin". In 2013, Wu Zun publicly celebrated his daughter's birthday, and in October of the same year, announced that his son was safely born.
