Barbara Stanley

Barbara Stanley was the daughter of George Stanley, a British politician who lived from 1872 to 1938, and she was born in 1906 and died in 1986. Her paternal lineage includes her grandfather, Frederick Stanley, the 16th Earl of Derby, a British politician who lived from 1841 to 1908 and is known as the founder of the Stanley Cup. Her great-grandfather was Edward Smith-Stanley, the 14th Earl of Derby, a British politician who lived from 1799 to 1869.
