Xiao Baicheng

Xiao Baicheng (1950–2011), born in Hong Kong, was an industry professional in funeral services with a certain degree of commercial influence. He was a child of Xiao Ming and was previously married to He Chaoying; the couple later divorced. Throughout his career, Xiao Baicheng was involved in the funeral industry, becoming an important figure within that sector.

In his early life and career, Xiao Baicheng had some collaborations with prominent business figures of the time. In the early 1970s, he invested alongside Macau gambling king Ho Hoi-shun in a horse racing project in Iran, demonstrating his active participation in business activities. These business partnerships during that period reflected his involvement in both Hong Kong and international commerce.

Family-wise, Xiao Baicheng’s family relationships were relatively complex. His ex-wife, He Chaoying, with whom he had children, later traveled for 14 years across more than twenty countries with their daughter after their divorce. During this time, she experienced family tragedies, including the death of a family member in a car accident and her mother falling ill; it is rumored that she exhibited signs of mental instability during this period. Xiao Baicheng's younger brother also died in a car accident.

In 2011, Xiao Baicheng died in Hong Kong at the age of 62. His family members attended his funeral at the Hong Kong Funeral Home, including He Xiaoyan and her husband, as well as He Chaohong and Chao Feng. However, He Chaoying did not attend this memorial service. After his passing, family members continued appearing in public to maintain the family’s public image.
