Introduction
Takatsukasa Sukehira was a Japanese court noble of the Edo period. He was the father of Takatsukasa Masahiro, who was also a kugyō or Japanese court noble during the same period. Takatsukasa Masahiro was the father of Takatsukasa Masamichi, continuing the noble lineage. Takatsukasa Masamichi's son was Takatsukasa Sukehiro, a Japanese noble of the 19th century. Sukehiro's son, Tokudaiji Kin'ito, lived from 1821 to 1883 and was the father of Saionji Kinmochi, a Japanese politician who lived from 1849 to 1940.
