Shi Rongheng

Shi Rongheng, male, has extensive experience in business investment and corporate management. He is currently a director of multiple companies, including Hengtong Resources Group Limited, Hong Kong Industrial Exhibition Investment Limited, Guangxi Hong Kong Street Real Estate Limited, Shanghai Everbright Real Estate Limited, and Industrial Exhibition (Wuhan) Property Development Co., Ltd., among others; he also serves as a director and licensed representative of Hong Kong Hengtong Securities Limited.

His political and social involvement includes supporting the policy of “One Country, Two Systems,” and participating in public welfare activities in Hong Kong and the mainland in areas such as social affairs and education; he has served as Chairman of the Board of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Other social and industry duties include: Member of the Shanghai CPPCC for the 12th, 13th, and 14th sessions, and Standing Committee member of the 14th CPPCC; Vice President of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Development Association; Executive Director of the Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association; Advisor to the Advisory Board of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in Hong Kong; Member of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority; Director of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong; Honorary President of the Hong Kong-Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, among others.

In April 2015, he was appointed as a member of the Chief Executive’s remuneration and terms of service Executive Committee; in May 2016, he was appointed by the State Council’s Overseas Chinese Affairs Office to serve as a director of the seventh Board of Directors of Huaqiao University.

Family: Father is Shi Ziqing; elder brother Shi Rongyi; second younger brother Shi Ronghuai; fourth younger brother Shi Rongxin.

Honours: In July 2015, awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government; on January 18, 2022, awarded the Shanghai CPPCC Member Outstanding Performance Award.
