Fang Wei

Qi Qin, born in 1958, is a well-known singer and music producer from Taiwan, China. His life involves complex family relationships and career development, which have attracted significant public and media attention.

Qi Qin's father had a child, Fang Wei, with Fang Meifang. Due to their broken relationship, Fang Wei became an "illegitimate child," and during his upbringing, he had little contact with his father Qi Qin, even involving legal proceedings to resolve their disputes. After Qi Qin separated from Fang Meifang, the father-son relationship fell into a state of tension. In 2001, Fang Meifang sued Qi Qin on behalf of her son, Fang Wei, requesting 15 million New Taiwan Dollars in child support. The court ruled that Qi Qin should pay 5.26 million NT Dollars for support. Subsequently, the relationship between mother and son gradually distanced, and contact between father and son was almost severed. Qi Qin found it difficult to repair this estrangement publicly.

Regarding personal relationships, Qi Qin once had a long-term romantic relationship with Wang Zuxian that lasted over ten years. However, due to external pressures and interference, the relationship ended. Wang Zuxian canceled their wedding amid public controversies and pressures, leading to further distance between them.
