Lord William Hervey was a British diplomat who lived from 1805 to 1850 and was the son of Frederick Hervey, 1st Marquess of Bristol, and Lady Louisa Hervey. His father was the son of Frederick Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol, a British bishop who lived from 1730 to 1803. Lady Louisa Hervey, his mother, was the daughter of Frederick Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol, and was married to Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827.
