Introduction

Efu Se Buz Teng Barjür (Mongolian: эфү Сэвдэнбалжир; Manchu script: Septenbaljur; ?—1775), also known as Buerji Geshitebuz Tengbalejür, was posthumously titled Yi. He was from the Horqin Left Wing Banner of the Zhalayem League in Inner Mongolia, a Khorchin Zasag prince (later stripped of his nobility). He was a Mongolian prince, efu, and military general during the Qing Dynasty.

Biography: In the early Qianlong period, he served as a top-ranking Taiji. In the eighth year of Qianlong (1743), he inherited the title of Duke of the Fu State in Khorqin Left Wing Banner. In the tenth year, he was appointed Gulu Efu and married Princess Gulu Hejing. In the twelfth year, he served as the commander of the Mongolian Banner of the Red Banner; in the sixteenth year, he accompanied the officials on the southern inspection tour. The following year, he was appointed Zhasag of Kuzuozhong Banner and Prince of the Moshok Darlhan. In the eighteenth year, he served as vice-commander-in-chief of Zhalayem League; the following year, he was briefly acting Deputy General of Dingbian Left and Minister of North Road Zhen Canyun, participating in the suppression of the Zunghar. He received double salary for his merits; later, he was stripped of his title after defecting with A Mur Sarnai. The Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince position was succeeded by his brother, Se Wong Noerbu. In the twenty-second year of Qianlong, he was appointed Leader of the Expedition to Yili; the next year, he became a Manchu Weiofu of the Xianglan Banner and the commander of Manchu troops in the Xianer region. In the thirty-second year, he served as Shangshu of the Lifan Yuan. In the thirty-third year, he was appointed commander of the Mangolian Xian Lan Banner and president of the Jianrui camp. The following year, he was briefly acting Inner Minister of the Plain White Banner Guard, also serving as president of the three-banner guards of the Royal Garden's Eight Banners. In the thirty-fifth year, he held the positions of Inner Minister of the Guards of the Plain White Banner and the Inner Minister of the Guards of the Proper Yellow Banner. In the thirty-eighth year, he led Manchu soldiers from the Jianrui and Firearm Camps to quell Jinchuan. In March of the fortieth year, he died in Jin Chuan camp; posthumously titled Yi.

Family: His great-grandfather was Man Zhu Xili, Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince of Khorqin Left Wing Banner and brother of Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang; his great-grandmother was a Moshok princess, daughter of Duke Yue Tuo of Kuqin and adopted daughter by Emperor Taizong of Qing. His great-grandfather was Hata, Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince of Khorqin Left Wing Banner; his grandfather was Ban Di, also Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince and Gulu Efu of Khorqin Left Wing Banner; his grandmother was Princess Gulu Duanmin, the second daughter of Prince Jian Jing, an adopted daughter of Emperor Shunzhi. His father was Luo Bo Zang Gung Bu, Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince of Khorqin Left Wing Banner, also Gulu Efu. His formal mother was a princess, the fifth daughter of the Fuchuan Princess. His father-in-law was Emperor Qianlong; his mother-in-law was Empress Xiaoxian Chun. His primary wife was Gulu Hejing Princess. His brothers include Lash Namu Zhale and Se Wong Noerbu, the latter succeeding as Zhasag Moshok Darlhan prince of his banner; wife from the Aisin Gioro clan. His son was Er Zhe Yitu Mul Erke Bay. His nephew was Wang Zhale Dorji. His heir was El Zhe Yitu; his great-grandson was Jike Mote; his great-great-grandson was Gunchuk Klinqin. His fifth-generation grandson was Nasutu, Duke of Fu in Khorqin Left Wing Banner, residing mainly in Beijing. His sixth grandson was Dala, Gushan Beizi of Khorqin Left Wing Banner, also residing mainly in Beijing.
