John Thomas Ansley

John Thomas Ansley was born in 1808 and died in 1891. He was the son of Abel Ainsley, who was born around 1761 or 1762 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and died around March to May 1822 in Warren County, Georgia. Ann Ainsley, daughter of Abel Ainsley and born between 1801 and 1848, was the mother of Littleberry Walker Carter, who was born in 1832 and died on November 28, 1873; she was also the grandmother of U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Littleberry Walker Carter was the father of William Archibald Carter, and William Archibald Carter was the father of James Earl Carter Sr., an American politician born in 1894 and died in 1953.
