Introduction
Wang Hongshuang is the younger brother of Wang Hongwen, a former political figure of the People’s Republic of China. He was born in Kaiyuan Village, Xixin Township, Lvyuan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, into an ordinary farming family. His parents, Wang Guosheng and Wang Yangshi, were local farmers who relied on agriculture for their livelihood.
In 1958, Wang Hongshuang enlisted in the People’s Liberation Army, beginning his military career. During his service, he performed his duties diligently and completed various assignments. In 1962, after leaving the army, he was transferred to work at the Aircraft Maintenance Factory in Wugong County, Shaanxi Province, where he took up a position related to machinery and equipment repair.
He spent many years working at the factory, remaining committed to his post and contributing to local industrial production. Following China’s reform and opening-up period, he continued his technical work until reaching retirement.
Now retired, Wang Hongshuang lives a stable life and maintains regular contact with his family. His life—from serving in the military to working in industry—reflects the experiences of many ordinary Chinese workers of his generation.
