Introduction
Dondovdorji (Mongolian: Дондовдорж, 17th century—1743), of the Borjigit clan, was a Mongolian prince of the Qing Dynasty, a Tushiyatu Khan, and an imperial consort. He was a descendant of Dàyán Khan Batumönkh and the eldest son of Galedandörji, the Doroi frontier prince.
Chronology:
- 1692: Succeeded as Zasak Doroi frontier prince.
- 1695: Went to Beijing to pay homage, was granted crown robes and silver coins.
- 1696: Accompanied Emperor Kangxi on a visit to Huifu City.
- 1697: Married the sixth daughter of Emperor Kangxi, the Heshuo Princess.
- 1700: Promoted to He shuo-qinwang (Grand Master Prince) and succeeded as Tushiyatu Khan.
- 1702: Demoted to a prince of the commandery; General Jing Ni, along with Yanting, protected the seventh Dalai Lama into the city, and Dondovdorji was ordered to stay in the region.
- 1723: In the first year of Yongzheng, restored to He shuo-qinwang due to meritorious service, and promoted to Gulaun Exo (a high rank in the imperial consort hierarchy).
- 1741: In the sixth year of Qianlong, resided in Khorchin with his nephew Tushiyatu Khan Dundan Dörji, overseeing his son, the Second Jebzun Danba Hututu.
- 1743: Died.
Family and Succession:
- Dondovdorji had four sons: the eldest Genzab Dörji, the second Erenqin Dörji, the third Gezhai Dörji, and the fourth Lobso Danbimbu (the Second Jebzun Danba Hututu).
