Janet Aitken

Janet Aitken is a British peerage individual identified with the peerage person ID 216849 and is known as the mother of Thomas Gladstones. Thomas Gladstones was a Scottish merchant and philanthropist who lived from 1732 to 1809 and was the son of Janet Aitken. Thomas Gladstones was the father of Sir John Gladstone, 1st Baronet, a British politician, who in turn was the father of William Ewart Gladstone, a British Liberal prime minister who lived from 1809 to 1898.
