Zhang Yijiao

Zhang Yijiao, born in 2006, is the daughter of renowned Chinese director Zhang Yimou and Chen Ting. From a young age, she demonstrated a strong interest and innate talent in the arts. At the age of four, her paintings were made into scarves as gifts for friends and family, showcasing her early artistic sensibility. These works primarily highlighted her painting skills and creativity, becoming important content for family interactions and social media displays.

During her growth, Zhang Yijiao attended an international school where she received art education as part of the English curricula. The school used originally designed handmade teaching materials created by teachers to cultivate students’ painting techniques and artistic literacy.
