Lady Mary Maitland

Lady Mary Maitland, who died in 1877, was the daughter of Eleanor Todd, who was also the daughter of Eleanor Todd, and the granddaughter of Lady Eleanor Maitland, the Countess of Lauderdale, who lived from 1790 to 1869. Her paternal lineage includes James Maitland Balfour, a British politician born in 1820 and deceased in 1856, and Arthur Balfour, a British Prime Minister, Conservative politician, and statesman who lived from 1848 to 1930.
