Introduction
Henrietta Shelley (1731β1802) was the daughter of Margaret Pelham, who was the daughter of Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham. Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, was the son of Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham, and served as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1743 to 1754. Margaret Pelham died in 1758.
