Cao Jingtang

Cao Jingtang originates from a family that originally settled in Taishan City, Guangdong Province, and initially resided in the Taishan region of Guangdong. Later, his family migrated to Malaysia. Cao Jingtang was born in Malaysia, and thereafter he was primarily raised by his grandparents who lived in Taishan, Guangdong. Regarding his educational background, Cao Jingtang went to Canada for studies at the age of 8, and at age 15, he moved to New Zealand to continue his education. After discovering his singing talent, Cao Jingtang returned to China to develop his career.

In his family relationships, his son is the well-known singer Cao Ge. Cao Ge returned to Malaysia at age 15 to start his music career. During his upbringing, he spent extended periods apart from Cao Jingtang, living in different places, until he later settled in Taiwan. Due to his career and family reasons, Cao Ge is married with children and has resided in Taiwan for many years, which has resulted in less time spent together with his father.
