Introduction
Mary Bishopp was the daughter of Sir Cecil Bishopp, 6th Baronet, a British politician who lived from 1700 to 1778. Her sister, Catherine Bishopp, was the wife of Charles Jenkinson, 1st Earl of Liverpool. Catherine Bishopp (1744–1827) was the mother of Robert Jenkinson, the 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827.
