Lee Shing Put

Shengpo Li, born in Hong Kong, China, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, obtained in 2000 with a major in Finance and Economics. After graduation, he engaged in information technology and investment businesses involving Hong Kong and Mainland China.

From June 2004 to October 2008, Shengpo Li served as an executive director of Sinyi Glass Company (a subsidiary of Sinyi Group). Subsequently, in September 2013, he became a non-executive director of Sinyi Photovoltaic Holdings Limited. In August 2020, he was appointed executive director and chairman of the board of Sinyi Energy Holdings Limited.

In terms of public roles, Shengpo Li became the President of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce in September 2018. He also serves as the executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the Build a Better Hong Kong Charity Foundation. Additionally, he holds several positions in political advisory organizations, including member of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guangdong Committee, member of the 5th Shenzhen CPPCC, and delegate to the 14th National People's Congress of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the 10th National Committee of the All-China Youth Federation, the executive councilor of the Kowloon Le Sham Tong in Hong Kong, and vice chairman of the Fujian Hope Project Foundation. In September 2023, he was elected as a standing committee member of the 11th China Federation of Overseas Chinese. He is expected to serve as vice chairman of the 4th Board of Directors of the China Foundation for Justice and Courage in December 2025.

Shengpo Li has received several honors, including being named China's philanthropic person of the year in 2018. In 2019, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR government. In May 2022, he was recognized as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Youths in Shenzhen for 2021.

Regarding his family, his father is Li Xianyi, his uncle is Dong Qingshi, and his cousin is Li Youqing.

In philanthropy, Shengpo Li actively participates in social welfare activities, having donated multiple times to various charitable organizations, Hope Project, and impoverished or disaster-stricken areas, with total donations exceeding ten million yuan. These activities reflect his philosophy of “taking from society, serving society,” aiming to promote social harmony and development through public charity initiatives.
