Zhang Shurong

Zhang Shurong, born in Yitong County, Jilin Province, comes from a peasant family. She met Li Changchun during their studies at Harbin Institute of Technology. Both excelled academically and were outstanding students during university. Zhang Shurong joined the Chinese Communist Party earlier than Li Changchun, becoming a member before him.

During her university years, Zhang Shurong's academic performance was recognized. After graduation, she joined a design research institute in Shenyang, where she gradually advanced to positions such as senior engineer, Party Committee secretary, and deputy director. She undertook multiple responsibilities at work, balancing family life and career development.

In terms of family, Zhang Shurong married Li Changchun, and they have one son and one daughter. The son chose to study engineering, while the daughter independently selected international finance.
