Introduction
Agnes Hepburn, who died in 1888, was the wife of Sir Robert McAlpine, 1st Baronet, a British construction firm founder. She is also the mother of Roberta Ida Freeman McAlpine, who was married to Richard Lloyd George, 2nd Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor. Richard Lloyd George was the son of David Lloyd George, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1916 to 1922.
