Introduction

Kun Ling was born on August 12, 1993, in Ximen District, Taipei City, Taiwan, China. She has a mixed Chinese-Australian background; her father is Australian, and her mother is of Chinese-Korean descent. She also has an older sister. Kun Ling officially entered the entertainment industry in 2008 through the variety show "I Love Black Sefuit". Since then, she has appeared on numerous variety programs, gradually building her popularity. In December 2011, she served as a guest host on the talent show "I Love Men". On April 10, 2012, she made her first appearance in a Chinese drama, playing the role of Peng Kaili in "Love on Chocolate". On August 15 of the same year, she participated in the runway show "Woman, I Max" alongside Lan Xinmei and Kobayashi Yumi.

In May 2013, she played a ballet dancer in the romantic food drama "The Dessert Shop Without a Name," marking her debut in dance performances within a TV drama. On July 30, 2013, she became the female lead in the music video for Wei Chen’s album "Climax," performing the song "Cover Lover." Regarding her family, Kun Ling's grandmother is from Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Her father is Australian, and her mother is of Chinese-Korean descent, with an older sister among her family members. She began dating Jay Chou in 2010. On December 25, 2014, Jay Chou officially proposed to Kun Ling in the UK. The couple held their wedding in Sielby, Yorkshire, on January 17, 2015, and later had another ceremony in Australia. They have a daughter born on July 10, 2017. Their second child was born in June 2018, and their third child was announced to be born in April 2022.

Kun Ling actively participates in charity work, having attended numerous public welfare activities, including charity sales, benefit concerts, and donations for disaster relief.
